Rooms & Group Accommodations – Chambres d'hôtes du Domaine de Cabrières

We have five bedrooms available for rent in our home. They are located at the rear of the building (the blue shutters in the photo). Given the location of our home, in the outbuildings of a former castle, the rooms may not have the feel of "royal suites," but neither do our rates! They do, however, offer all the comforts necessary for a pleasant stay, with good quality bedding and a setting that will guarantee you, in addition to the charm of a place with character, the absolute tranquility you're looking for.

We can accommodate a group of up to 10-11 people in 4 bedrooms on the upper floors and 3 to 4 people independently on the garden level. We have a capacity of 13 people, which we can increase to 15 by adding extra beds in 2 of the bedrooms.

All rooms have private bathrooms (sink, shower or bathtub, toilet), fans , mosquito nets, and electric heating. Wi-Fi is also available, although the speed is moderate. However, they do not have televisions, much to our delight and, we hope, yours. A screen and DVD player (with a DVD library) are available in the common lounge.

We are in an old building; the thick walls ensure relative coolness in summer, enhanced by the proximity of the forest and several water sources. During heatwaves, we manage to keep the temperature around 25°C in the three downstairs bedrooms, provided we take care to keep the rooms well-insulated. The upstairs bedrooms are equipped with portable air conditioners. Our windows are all fitted with mosquito nets and blackout curtains, but do not have shutters. Furthermore, even though the location is surrounded by greenery, being situated above a village, we may hear some noise on summer evenings, particularly during concerts or the village festival organized by the municipality. In such cases, the best thing to do is go there or simply bear with it; it never lasts all night.
